Spent a great couple of hours at Fort Purbrook, Portsmouth this morning pretending to be a rock band. As much as we love pubs and clubs, we’re never happier than when we play at a party. Well, that was different! Pete, Jamie and I met up for a pint at The Malt, Hythe. Pete ordered the drinks, I got a bag of pork crackling and Jamie got us a gig on Saturday 16th October starting around 8:00pm. I’m now sitting here in the pub typing away while Jamie and Pete sort out our new material. Oh the wonders of modern technology! Be there or be at home, bored.
The good people of the Lee-On-Solent Community Club got wind of what a great show The Crush put on and tracked us down. Our people spoke to their people. Their people spoke to some more of their people and then got back to our people again. The upshot is we’re playing there on Friday 22nd October 2010 and we can’t bloomin’ well wait. YES!!!! I think it’s safe to say that we had a fantastic night at The Carisbrooke Arms, Gosport on Saturday 11th May 2013. It was great to see so many familiar faces and a load of new ones too.
