I GOT GAS* AGAIN (*Gear Aquisition Syndrome)

Well, it’s like this… I was looking at getting a bass cab lighter and smaller than the old Peavey 4 x 10″ (I’m not 21 any more) and suddenly on Gumtree this baby popped up for a paltry £60. I just had to try it out. It’s an Ashdown Compact ABM115, 1 x 15″, 8 ohm 300 watts, 500 watts program, two rear ports and sounds absolutely incredible with my Ashdown EVO2 300 head! It keeps up with a drum kit no problem and really cuts thru’ the mix.

 

 

Trouble is now……I keep thinking about another one to make a mini stack to really do the biz…..Hmmmmm………

    YES!!!! I think it’s safe to say that we had a fantastic night at The Carisbrooke Arms, Gosport on Saturday 11th May 2013. It was great to see so many familiar faces and a load of new ones too.
