It’s a funny thing. I’ve been in a number of bands over the years where the line-up has changed. It’s never the best of experiences for a whole bunch of reasons. There’s always that tiny element of doubt, that tiny niggle at the first gig with a new band member. Are they going to come good? Is that new person the best fit for the band? Have all the rehearsals paid off? Everything is sounding great in the studio but what about when there’s an audience? Will it all just work?
We played at The Curlew, Havant last night (Friday 29th June 2012). This was the first gig with our latest addition to The Crush family, Duncan Copland. It worked! It all worked! The boy did good!!
We can only go on the comments we get from the audience after a gig and judging by the number of people that were full of nothing but praise for Duncan (or “Pumpkin” as he’s now been renamed) we’ve found the right guy for the job.
Duncan, welcome aboard this crazy ride that is The Crush!!
