Holy Meatballs!!! What a gig that turned out to be!!! Let’s be straight and upfront about this one. It started off slow. Small crowd, not a huge amount of interaction, we played ok, I dropped a couple of clangers (I couldn’t have picked more incorrect chords if I tried) but then things picked up. …but I sold the other blue Yamaha RBX775 first, so it doesn’t count. Spotted this pre-owned BBN5 II on Basschat and the picture just spoke to me, y’know, like they do. Plays and sounds so different to the other two Yammys I had. Looks gorgeous and growls like a growly thing should. Probably have this one for a while….. I say ‘probably’…. You all know me by now…..
Gosport Festival Update!
Great news!! The running order for the Gosport Festival has been announced. Looks like The Crush will be playing late afternoon/early evening. There’s no official timing (none that we’re allowed to announce anyway) but there’s some great bands on the same day as us so why not come along and enjoy a whole day’s worth of music.
